Jesus Christ is our beginning and end. In Philippians 1:6 it says,

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

This verse does not say the Lord will help you begin a good work, nor does it say the Lord will help you complete the job. What this verse does say, God, Himself is the beginning and finisher of every good work in you. Do you have any part in this? Only one. Stop asking God to help you work things out and allow Him to do ALL the work He has promised.

We all cry out to God to relieve our stresses, yet we cling to the illusion we must enter the fray as if our life depended on it. In reality, our peace, joy, fulfillment, and life depend on letting go of a responsibility that doesn’t belong to us. How free do we want to be? 

I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA. Therefore, I will be your only source of power.
