My Kind of God
Romans 1:20
For ever since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without excuse and without defense.
God the Father, through Jesus Christ, has made evident what blind eyes cannot see. Those who possess blind eyes are the ones who choose not to see the manifold glories of creation. Satan has blinded the visual perception of the proud and the arrogant, who choose to believe in man’s wisdom over God’s. Those who accept false gods made from man’s imagination to suit their earthen fancies don’t realize the grandeur of what they are missing.
Jesus does not leave anyone without knowledge of Himself. The celestial displays in the heavenly realm, the crystal dew upon the morning grass, the elegance of a dainty wildflower, or the endless variety in the animal kingdom all speak of God’s love for humanity.
God desires to commune with the prize of His creation-you and me. He longs to teach us what it means to be free. The freedom of this world is, in fact, bondage. Jesus Christ leaps over mountains of difficulties and breaks through iron bars, stone walls, and heaps of rubbish to reach us. His love never fails!
I love that kind of God, don’t you?
