All My Needs

All My Needs

Have you ever thought if I could win the lottery, all my troubles would be over? I could pay off my debts; buy a new house and car. I could, and I could, and I could.

Money gives most of those who have it a false sense of security. The wealthy lean upon the cash in their pocket to supply what they think they need. On the other hand, the person who comes to Christ recognizes a need in themselves that money can’t buy. That empty void left unsatisfied in too many people, including the rich.

If we only could see the benefactor present, we would not need money. George Muller was one of those people who relied upon the goodness of God to supply all his needs. When there was no food for breakfast, he would thank the Lord for the breakfast He provided, and God came through every time. When George Muller had a speaking appointment, the ship he was on couldn’t move forward because of the fog, he and the captain knelt and asked the Lord to lift the fog, and He did.

The secret to this man’s life and great success was he always believed and thanked the Lord before he saw the answer. How much more prosperous can we get than to believe God when He says He WILL supply all our needs according to His riches in glory? Just saying.

Philippians 4:19

Amplified Bible

19 And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
