Faith to Trust

Faith to Trust

I’ve spent quite a bit on Joshua 1:9, but I still have something to say about this verse.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
When Jesus went about the land healing, He never commanded the Leper not to be a leper, and He never commanded the disabled person not to be a cripple or the blind to stop being blind. The before mentioned were physical maladies man was incapable of changing. However, Jesus did command us not to fear or be discouraged.
We call on the Lord to give us faith to trust Jesus for all things. Fear, anxiety, and discouragement are different than physical conditions; they are trust issues. Our healing prayer for overcoming discouragement and fear will be to transform our fear into belief.
We will no longer fear when we believe Jesus loves us without hesitation. Fear only comes when we are uncertain. There is no peace in uncertainty, and Jesus wants us to experience peace beyond what we can comprehend.
Feel free to share your prayerful thoughts and scriptures if you have a different viewpoint.
