Are you ready for some good news?

Let’s talk about a promise that transforms hours, days, and even years of unrelenting guilt.

Isaiah 43:25

25 And yet, I am the God who forgives your sins,

     and I do this because of who I am.

 I will not hold your sins against you.

The promise given comes straight from God Himself. The only thing for us to do is accept the gift. At this point, we often get into trouble. Jesus forgives us, but do we forgive ourselves?

We do not deserve forgiveness because we have acted out of fleshly desires. When consequences arrive, we often misunderstand and misinterpret God’s motives. Consequently, we rob ourselves of freedom. We fight the lifeguard trying to rescue us from certain death.

All the garbage we have collected needs removing. The garbage collector will dispose of the stinking burden we keep picking up to carry alone.
