My Only Constant
Jesus is the only true constant in my life. He never walks out, gives up, or has a bad day. His focus is on getting me ready for tomorrow, for whatever that may bring. He knows what tomorrow holds, so it is to our benefit to let Him lead.
Today, I have something for which to praise Him. He’s here, right here. I don’t need to search to find Him. Even if I cannot feel His presence does not mean He’s off somewhere doing something more important than me.
We interpret the parable of the pearl of great price as my sacrificing my all to gain Jesus. The reverse is also true. Jesus considered me of such significant value as to give His all to have me. Meditate on that for a while. In reality, it is incomprehensible.
