Where’s the Son?
When I get up in the morning, I can’t say I have ever worried about the sun. Even on the darkest day, when heavy thick clouds block out the light, I don’t concern myself.
I don’t wonder if the sun forgot to get up this morning or if it doesn’t care I’m in the dark. If I can’t see, hear, or feel the sun, it doesn’t preclude its existence.
I know with surety, the sun hasn’t gone missing. There is no doubt of its existence. I may not like the rain the clouds bring, but I don’t deny the presence of the rain, which only clouds can carry.
Behind every cloud, the sun is shining.
Why, then, do I question God if I cannot see Him, hear Him, or feel Him. Behind every dark cloud, the Son is always shining.
