Oh, Lord,

Give to me a portion of Solomon’s wisdom,

The enduring patience of Moses,

And the passion of David.

Let me rest in the glory of your presence,

Receive the plenty from hidden treasures,

And power from your Spirit.

Grant me a mind dedicated to your purpose,

A body as a temple of living praise,

And a voice to your people.

Let me feed in the meadow of green pastures,

Drink from the cup of your good pleasure,

And dance on the sea in paradise.
