From the Clouds-1

A Reporting From Four Years Ago

You may consider me disturbed, overzealous, or just an attention seeker with a great imagination.
Regardless of critics, naysayers, or snickers from the back of the room, this is my story.

For quite some time now God has seen fit to give me messages in the clouds. I initiated the idea by asking Him if He would speak somehow through the vast array of cloud formations. It was fall when I first presented Him with the challenge, so there were plenty of clouds at His disposal. I must confess, it surprised me at how quickly He responded to my not so confident request.

I was looking out the window at the time and with barely a breath between my words to Him and His words He spoke. No, not out loud but with certainty, in my spirit, it might as well have been.

“Do you see that brilliant white cloud that is standing still?” After giving me time to assimilate, He continued. “Now, do you see that dark, angry cloud that is moving swiftly to overtake and cover the white cloud?” There was just the top of the white cloud still visible as the black cloud was racing to envelop it.

The most brilliant part of the cloud that beamed above the blackness remained. The Lord said, “Darkness is quickly covering the earth.”

I remember feeling thankful for the remaining brilliance of the white cloud; little was still visible, but bright enough to make a difference I thought. As we are the light of the world, let us let our light shine for all to see; “Like a city on a hilltop” (Mathew 5:14) It also struck me that the white cloud remained steady in its place as “Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

The experience left me with a profound sense of urgency for what might come to an unsuspecting world. I was also still in awe that Jesus would consent to speak through, of all things, clouds.

I have found, with great delight, that our Father communicates with His children in varied and assorted ways. We are all unique to the other, and Jesus approaches us in a way in which we will be able to relate and understand. His whole purpose for communication is for exploration into the mind and heart of His children and giving us an “open line” to know and understand Him better.

With each encounter, relationships grow or diminish according to what we are seeking. If our desire is an intimate relationship with Him, He is excited to let us in on what He is thinking. Amos 4:13 says, “He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals His thoughts to mankind, and treads on the heights of the earth—the Lord Almighty is His name.” And Jeremiah 29:11 encourages us with “For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope.”

He desires to share His heart with us. He may speak to you in a very different way than He speaks to me. In fact, I’m sure He will (He doesn’t seem to repeat His methods too often). But if sought with the whole heart He will reveal what He shares with you in ways unique to you.

I wanted to (and compelled to) share with you some messages He wants all of us to know as we draw ever nearer to the time of His coming.
