The one quality I cherish in particular about Jesus; that gives me the most comfort is the manner He loves me. His devotion is persistent and consistent. It is not conditional on what I do or don’t do because it never fluctuates according to my behavior. He never turns His back when I fail Him nor is He overwhelmed by my neediness. In fact, the more I call for Him, the better He likes it because it draws us closer.

Matthew 10:29-31 New Living Translation (NLT)

²⁹ What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin^[a]? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. ³⁰ And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. ³¹ So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.

My idiosyncrasies never disturb Jesus. Come to think of it, even with my oddities and imperfections He holds me as if He never wishes to let go. Do you have a God like that? I’ll share.
