On Eagles Wings

On Eagles Wings

In The Maze Of Life May, We Find The Purpose For Life.

Let me ask you a question. A question I have often asked myself. “Why are we here”?

Have you ever felt as if you have no purpose, no direction, and the universe is silent? Is there a real honest to goodness plan? It is here we often stumble… The plan. If you are a follower of Christ, then you know God has a design for everyone. The bottom line is to save each of us. It can’t get more simple than that, know God and receive salvation.

The problem enters when we want the control. We allow God a portion, but we want the final say.

As we make choices for God, we wonder what’s gone wrong when we flap in the breeze with no rudder to guide us. Dare we ask God WHY? Why were you not there when I needed you? We are forever blaming God for the messes we get ourselves in by our need for control. It sounds simple, allow Jesus to do what He wants, and everything will be okay.

What is it that keeps you from that place of rest?

The answer lies within you; you doubt because you do not trust God. Why do you not believe God? For He is faithful who says,

(I will replace the word him, with you.)

“For the Lord’s portion is you, … In a desert land he found you, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded you and cared for you; he guarded you as the apple of his eye, like an eagle that stirs up his nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them on its pinions, the Lord alone leads you,” Deuteronomy 32: 9-12.

When the time is right, the Eagle pushes each eaglet out of the nest from high above the rocky crevices. It flutters and falters, but the eagle swoops under its chick before it hits the rocks. Then the loving parent carries it back to the nest to try again.

Dear reader, you are a chick in the hands of a mighty eagle. Allow Him to push you out of your comfort zone and teach you to fly revealing your purpose.

Exodus 19:4

4 You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

Isaiah 40:31

31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
