Answers To Prayers

Answers To Prayers

Our prayer warriors focus on growing in the Spirit and praying for God’s intervention in lives. We pray, not with timidity, but with conviction, expecting an answer and knowing that answer is forthcoming. We are assured of results by our love for the Lord and His undying love for us.

In need of extreme dental work—the extraction of 10 teeth—a young girl felt hesitant and anxious.  Prayer warriors prayed she would be at peace concerning this procedure and that all would go smoothly. God took charge of the situation. The scenario transpired precisely as we prayed it would.  In fact, following the extractions, the girl felt ready to return to school in a matter of hours. “Fear you not, therefore, for you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:31

A young man, soon to graduate from missionary school, is overloaded with decisions, life’s complexities, and class assignments. Prays for him are continuous. This man has felt overwhelmed in the past, but now, at the most complex point of his life, he remains perfectly calm, trusting entirely in God for all things.   As he watches God attend to every detail, some even before the need is known, he is reassured of God’s love. “…the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Luke 12:7

When a young woman felt threatened by destructive patrons at her place of work, the warriors
prayed. We prayed that God would create a wall of protection around her and that He would cause the ominous people to immediately “get up out of their chairs and walk out.” And that is precisely what happened! They got up, and walked out! Fear not, for I am with you, Be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.  Isaiah 41: 10

If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.  John 15:7

I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help?  My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.  Psalm 12:1

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever.  Psalm 125

He who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.  1 Thessalonians 5:24

No one has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.  I Corinthians 2:9
