Living Water
Come To The Well Of Living Water And Be Blessed..
Jesus came to a town called Sychar. Jacob’s well was there and being tired from His travels sat down to rest. Since no coincidences exist with Jesus, at noon a woman approached the well. He had something to give her she desperately needed. Jesus came to offer her living water. A revelation of her life with five husbands brought her to believe this foreigner was the Messiah He claimed to be.
His offer of living water He extends to each one. Everyone who drinks the worlds water will thirst again, always craving but never fully gratified. But whoever drinks the water Jesus gives will never thirst again. It will become a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
A life of riches never satisfies. There aren’t enough dollars to fill a rich man’s pockets. There aren’t enough changes a person can make to their body to be perfect. Power seekers never find joy for their insatiable appetite requires more.
Living water cools the fevered brow, calms the troubled spirit, fills the empty heart, and gives meaning to life. Wander in a thirsty desert no longer. Drink deep from God’s life renewing well. His power filled words brings life to the soul.
Psalm 107:9
For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.
Isaiah 58:11
And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Jeremiah 31:25
For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.
Luke 12:15
