May You Pray With Great Expectations.


I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of praying for people and hoping something will happen. I want to live EXPECTING something to happen; to live a life of GREAT EXPECTATIONS.  Jeremiah 33:3 says when I call to God, he WILL answer. And James 1:6 reminds me when I ask for help, I must believe it and not doubt. And my favorite: Psalm 5:3 says, “In the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.”
  
I believe Jesus loves us to expect Him to do great things.  Luke 1:37 says, “For nothing is impossible with God.” We know that all things are possible for God. But did you know for God to do nothing is impossible?
  
Think about it. When we pray, it is impossible for God to sit back and do NOTHING!! Because NOTHING… is impossible for God. The moment we pray, Jesus puts a plan into motion to bring the best results. No matter what His children pray for He gives the best answer.
  
So, pray knowing God has a plan. EXPECT Him to work in His own way and time. Because to do nothing is utterly impossible! 

1 John 5:14 

14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Philippians 4:6 

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

James 4:3  

3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
