Now, like no other time, many are questioning and rejecting their outward appearance because it seems to deny their inward reality, or what they want as their reality.

 The confusion is not how you appear on the outside but the inward condition.

Striving to be whatever others think will be acceptable is a futile endeavor. Attempting to make yourself “measure up” is an impossible task. Of things to fix there is never a shortage. The desire to rework your external appearance robs you of inner peace.

Seek Jesus instead. He accepts you as you are. In seeking Him, your focus changes from self to the only answer to your problem. Transformation cannot occur with only a head knowledge of Jesus. The miracle happens when your superficial knowledge develops into a heart experience.

Your true self-lies in the hands of the one who has designed a specific plan of fulfillment for you; the one who brings you to the purpose of your existence. God’s power of love then takes responsibility for any necessary changes, that you are NOT called upon to “make happen.” He is ahead of you in knowing how to bring you the results you desire. It is then you will have discovered the exquisite, utterly exceptional you.
