Music Has Many Sounds

Music Has Many Sounds

Music has many sounds the ear cannot hear; that only the heart recognizes as being the music of the soul.

There is something about praising God through music that reaches down into your heart and soul. It gives birth to a love that changes you on the inside. The adoration expressed brings you into the very presence of majesty and the greatness of His splendor.

Giving God the glory with songs of praise brings one closer to heaven than anything else on earth. Why do I say that? Because worshiping the Father with music is the purest kind of prayer. If you listen to someone speak it can move you and change you, but with music, you are the participant, and it becomes a personal response of reverence and honor to a worthy God. It draws you into the very bosom of Jehovah.

Ephesians 5:19-20New International Version (NIV)
19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 150:1-5 NIV
1 Praise the LORD.Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.

The next time you have an opportunity to visit with Jesus through music, allow Him to speak His words of love to you.
