Letting Go Of Our Weaknesses

Letting Go Of Our Weaknesses

As you bow on your knees in your weakness, may you rise with the strength of a warrior.

When we bring our weaknesses and failures before God’s throne of grace, He hears and puts a plan in motion to thwart the devil’s attempts to destroy you.

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

If God wants to take the weakest areas of your life and turn them into strengths, then give them to Him. Be delighted that He can use your deficiencies to show His power on your behalf.

The only hold-up is getting so used to your weaknesses it’s difficult to leave them with God.

Are there any weaknesses in your life? Can you name which ones are a stumbling block? Take time this week to discuss the problem areas with the Lord.  By your fervent prayer pesky road hazards become visible and the way less complicated. Jesus takes the weight of guilt from you. What a relief! What a blessing is yours when no longer crushed under the burden of sin.

For it takes a warrior’s victorious battle with self to let go of those weaknesses.

Psalm 46:1-3

1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3 though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

Psalm 16:8

8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Isaiah 40:29

29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
